With increasing air pollution, a strong trend towards more efficient media is emerging due to the rise in particulate matter, soot, viruses and associated allergies. This calls for a more efficient cabin air filter media to meet the changing requirements.

GESSNER has developed a highly charged meltblown media that provides the high efficiency required while maintaining the same air permeability as previous generations of cabin air filter media. As a result, the final filter provides better filtration performance without consuming additional energy. As can be seen from the graph, our new NeenahPure™ media achieve almost twice the efficiency of media types with comparable air permeability due to the new material design.  

Our excellent charge stability ensures that there is no significant loss of efficiency even after the climate change test, allowing for a long filter life. Our media offer collection efficiencies from 50% to >99% (@KCL 0.3µm, 20cm/s) and are flame retardant to DIN 75200 and FMV SS 302.
