Innovating with Shape Memory: The Future of Customizable Nonwovens

|   Synthetic Nonwoven

Imagine a support bandage that's easy to slip on because of its stretched form, then conforms snugly when heat is applied, all while maintaining breathability and comfort. Our material's unique blend of elasticity and recovery has the potential to reinvent the market for various textile applications.

Imagine a support bandage that's easy to slip on because of its stretched form, then conforms snugly when heat is applied, all while maintaining breathability and comfort. Our material's unique blend of elasticity and recovery has the potential to reinvent the market for various textile applications.

Our innovative RnD team has harnessed the unique properties of a specially developed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) to create nonwovens that can temporarily change shape and "remember" their original structure.

The meltblown material is designed not only to expand, but also to bond effortlessly thanks to a low melting temperature, enabling lamination without adhesives. The result? A breathable fabric - with a natural stretch property of up to 500% that is both air permeable and allows moisture to escape - perfect for high-quality linings.

Available in a broad spectrum of grammages (30-460g/m²) and customizable in terms of fiber diameter, compliance, surface design, and functional properties like chemical and heat resistance, compostability, UV protection, and antibacterial features, these materials offer solutions tailored to diverse industry needs while promising cost reduction and simplification of production processes.

What applications can you envision with a material that adapts to its surroundings yet reverts to its 'memory' with a hint of warmth? We see endless possibilities and we're thrilled to lead the charge in material innovation that’s both smart and sustainable.
