Conventional flame-retardant impregnations often have downsides such as reduced service life, restricted air flow, or premature clogging of the filter media. We overcome these limitations with customized chemistry. Our impregnation is applied with precision and designed to blend seamlessly into the fiber structure:

Optimized for a wide range of applications

Our flame-retardant impregnation was originally developed for air intake filter media to prevent accidents such as the Mont Blanc tunnel fire. Regardless of the final filter application, our impregnation offers consistent filter performance along with flame retardancy. It is compatible with a variety of substrates, including cellulose, cellulose-polyester blends, cellulose-meltblown combinations.
